A 5 kg compressed block expands to 70–80 L of loose growing medium once fully hydrated — roughly 15 litres per kilogram. Compression is what makes cocopeat economical to ship: one container carries many times the volume it would as loose substrate.

What are the specifications of your cocopeat blocks?

Standard blocks are 5 kg, 30 × 30 × 15 cm, expanding to 70–80 L once hydrated. Low EC grade is washed to <0.5 mS/cm; high EC grade is >0.5 mS/cm. Both grades share the same pH of 5.5–6.5 and the same moisture ceiling of <20%. Other weights and custom briquette formats are produced on request.

Load ability is 11 pallets per 20ft container / 20 pallets per 40ft container. Blocks are stretch-wrapped and strapped so they hold shape through long-haul transport. Exact loading depends on the block format and on whether you prefer palletised handling or floor loading for maximum volume.

Which port do you ship from?

We load at Tanjung Perak, Surabaya, approximately 50 km from our Sidoarjo facility. The short inland leg keeps trucking cost and handling damage low compared with facilities further from an export port. We quote on FOB and CIF terms.

Our standard minimum is 1 × 20ft container. Smaller trial quantities can be arranged for buyers who want to qualify the material before committing to recurring volume. Tell us your intended application and we will advise the most economical shipment size.

Can you process cocopeat we already own?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Washing, drying, and blocking are offered as standalone services, independent of buying our material. If you hold high EC cocopeat that needs washing down to hydroponic grade, or loose material that needs compressing for export, we can process it to your specification.

How long does production and delivery take?

Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from confirmed order, depending on grade and volume. Export documentation — Certificate of Origin, packing list, commercial invoice, and bill of lading — is prepared alongside production so shipment is not held up by paperwork.

Our production facility is in Krembung, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, Indonesia. East Java is one of the country’s main coconut processing regions, which keeps our raw husk supply close to the line and shortens the route to the export port.
